1962
The Neuhaus factory reached full capacity. Three hundred and twenty employees were producing approximately 50,000 suits, 30,000 jackets and 17,000 men’s overcoats per year.
Since a sufficiently large plot of land was available in Hersbruck, a new factory was built in record time and production started there on 13 October 1963. The existing production capacity was increased by 25% with this acquisition of an extra 1,400 square metres.
1966
Moved to a two-storey administration building in Hersbruck. At that time, the labour market was an obstacle to rapid growth. Production abroad and ‘low-wage countries’ did not exist. Every item of clothing was made in Germany.
1969
The previous company name, BAG – Bekleidungswerke August Groß, was changed to CG – Collection Gross. However, the entry in the commercial register was not altered.
