2017
The product teams were separated to help distinguish the CARL GROSS and CG – CLUB of GENTS brands even more clearly from one another. At the same time, CG – CLUB of GENTS was involved more heavily in marketing campaigns such as tattoo and barber events.

The same year also saw the introduction of the ‘Savile Row by CG – CLUB OF GENTS’ line creating a high-quality and extravagant complement to the main line.

2018
This year was characterised by marketing campaigns, such as participating at the Lollapalooza Festival, working with BOLD MAGAZINE and organising The Great Dandy show featuring CG – CLUB of GENTS. In subsequent years, there were further shows held during Berlin Fashion Week.
CARL GROSS hosted the Black Line Dinner in Florence and was entered in the Guinness Book of Records for achieving the world record in the Fastest Marathon in a Suit (male) category.

2019
Introduction of the subline ‘Your Own Party by CG – CLUB of GENTS’. The classic wedding suit or the suit for special occasions was given a fresh, youthful makeover. Whereas unusual styles had been in demand in the past, especially for weddings, suits today should be able to be worn for more than a single occasion.
For the second time, CG – CLUB of GENTS was a top brand in the textile industry’s suit report.

2020
Introduction of the CARL GROSS CONCEPT GREEN subline. This sustainable subline sets the foundation for new ways of thinking and doing business at CARL GROSS. Sustainable Products.

Both the headquarters and the first two factories were certified with the GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) seal of sustainability in 2021. CARL GROSS launched the first GOTS-certified NOS suit.
The biggest disruption in the history of the company was probably the Corona pandemic which broke out in Germany in March 2020. Lockdown interrupted supply chains; working processes were limited and retail stores were partially or completely closed for weeks. Création Gross employees were placed on short-time working for a long time. The Hersbruck site was converted to a PPE mask-producing factory.
