MARTIN GOPPELT APPOINTED NEW GENERAL MANAGER OF FINANCE & OPERATIONS AT CRÉATION GROSS

Effective January 1, 2026, Martin Goppelt will assume the role of General Manager of Finance & Operations at Création Gross GmbH & Co. KG.

Goppelt brings extensive experience from the fashion and sporting goods industries. Most recently, he served as Managing Director at uhlsport GmbH for over three years. Prior to that, he spent more than nine years as Head of Supply Chain Management at Wortmann Schuh-Holding KG. His earlier career also includes management positions at the adidas Group and Amer Sports.

In his new position, Goppelt will be responsible for finance and operations and will form the company’s management team together with Dominik Gross, Managing Partner responsible for Sales, Marketing, and Product.

Dominik Gross commented: “With Martin Goppelt, we are gaining an experienced leader who shares our values and will contribute fresh momentum and perspective. I very much look forward to working with him.”

With this appointment, Création Gross reinforces its strategic focus on continuous development, digitalization, and operational excellence.

Goppelt succeeds Thomas Steinhart, who has overseen Finance and Operations since 2015 and will depart the company next year. The transition period will be used to ensure a seamless handover and a comprehensive introduction to all areas of the business.

CRÉATION GROSS CELEBRATES 100TH ANNIVERSARY WITH GRAND EVENT IN HERSBRUCK

On September 18, Création Gross marked the highlight of its anniversary year: the Franconian heritage company celebrated its 100th anniversary together with around 300 guests – including employees, customers and long-standing partners – in Hersbruck.

The evening offered guests a diverse program: it opened with a welcome address by Dominik Gross, followed by an impressive presentation of the brand world and a vivid visual timeline of the company’s history. A live band, DJ and dance floor ensured a lively atmosphere, with celebrations continuing late into the night.

“This anniversary is not only a look back at 100 years of company history, but also a glimpse into the future.” emphasized Dominik Gross in his speech. “We are proud of what we have achieved and look forward to continuing our success story together with our partners and colleagues.”

With this vibrant celebration in Hersbruck, Création Gross underlined its dynamic corporate culture – and its strong connection to the people who have supported the company for a century.

Création Gross GmbH & Co. KG is expanding its product range for the upcoming spring/summer 2026 order season and is presenting an extensive shoe collection for the two brands CARL GROSS and CG – CLUB of GENTS.

CARL GROSS – SHOES

With the launch of the shoe collection, the brand is emphasising its claim to provide the modern man with a perfectly coordinated complete look.

The men’s shoes in the collection impress with their timeless elegance, precise craftsmanship and uncompromising quality standards. They are characterised by high-quality materials, well thought-out details and precise workmanship, which, in addition to their elegant appearance, ensure a high level of comfort and durability. The collection includes NOS styles in the business sector and NOS sneakers as well as classics and new sneaker types, some with ultra-light soles, in the colours of the season.

In terms of design aesthetics, the new collection remains true to the brand identity: the shoes reflect the typical balance of classic sophistication and modern lightness. Whether for business or leisure, the models offer versatile styling options and complete any look in style.

SALES INFORMATION

All models are supplied with a practical shoe bag – ideal for travelling and on the go. For the POS, free-standing shoe gondolas are offered in the respective characteristic brand look, as well as a cross-brand solution to offer maximum flexibility.

An additional sales duo will be added to the existing sales teams that target the textile trade. Monti Zaidi, as a permanent employee, will act as contact person for the specialised shoe trade together with Claus Gese. Both have many years of experience in the distribution of renowned brands. Their extensive expertise in the marketing of international shoe labels makes them the ideal people to set up this new business area at Création Gross.

The sales strategy is aimed at both textile retailers and specialised shoe retailers throughout the DACH and Benelux regions. Seasonal models and a NOS programme are offered to provide retailers with maximum flexibility and predictability.

The new shoe collections will be presented for the first time at Pitti Immagine Uomo in Florence in June 2025. The entire collection can be viewed and ordered in all designated CARL GROSS and CG – CLUB of GENTS showrooms.

“We have worked intensively on the concept and the fashion and quality design of the collection over a long period of time. We are all the more pleased to now be able to present our retail partners with a well thought-out and market-orientated range of shoes,” says Dominik Gross, Managing Director of Création Gross.

Delivery of the first collection is planned from February 2026.

With this step, Création Gross is consistently expanding its brand world and will offer its customers the complete outfit from a single source in future.

Hersbruck will showcase the latest looks and highlights for the Autumn/Winter 2025 season in the “Hall of Columns” (Area Monumentale / Dynamic Attitude) at Fortezza da Basso. This year’s exhibition is centered around a significant milestone: 100 years of Création Gross. Visitors can look forward to an impressive 300 sqm display celebrating the anniversary while reflecting the company’s tradition and innovation.

100 years of modern tailoring – this is the motto for the CARL GROSS capsule collection
created to commemorate the company’s centenary. In collaboration with OLYMP and MAERZ Muenchen, two unique looks have been designed that highlight quality and timeless elegance. The collection focuses on total looks, versatility, and flexibility across all three CARL GROSS lines – Modern Tailoring Reloaded.

Highlights from the First Day of the Fair
The first day was all about networking and connecting. CARL GROSS and CG – CLUB of
GENTS hosted TextilWirtschaft for a Live Fashion Talk on Tuesday, January 14, at 3:30 PM. André Bangert from TextilWirtschaft and lifestyle entrepreneur and restaurateur James Ardinast discussed “Future Fashion Codes – New Experiences in Menswear.” They shared exciting insights into the development of menswear, in-store experiences, and the future of the suit. The day concluded with an Afterwork Aperitivo, featuring house music by the DJ duo Supernova from Florence, creating a special end to the first day of the exhibition.

Highlights from the Second Day of the Fair
In honor of the collaboration for the 100th Anniversary Capsule Collection, CARL GROSS,
together with partners OLYMP and MAERZ Muenchen, hosted a press brunch starting at
11:00 AM. Decision-makers from all three brands, passionate and dedicated to this

A century of living tradition and innovationYesterday, January 7, 2025, Création Gross rang in the anniversary year for the company’s 100th birthday. The celebrations were held with all employees at the Hersbruck site. The event is the kick-off for an eventful year.
The year 2025 marks a special milestone in the history of Création Gross. The traditional Franconian company is celebrating its 100th anniversary. A century characterized by innovation, growth and change is now being duly celebrated.
The anniversary year offers a special opportunity to pay tribute to the significant milestones in the company’s story and to thank employees, business partners and customers.
To mark the anniversary, a great deal of effort and research was put into compiling the company chronicle and making it accessible as a digital document.

An anniversary year full of activities and events
The year 2025 is all about the anniversary and offers numerous activities and events that will be celebrated on various platforms.
The anniversary year starts with the event on January 7 at Headquader Hersbruck. Just one week later, at Pitti Uomo in Florence, the two brands CARL GROSS and CG – CLUB of GENTS will present their capsule collections and invite customers to a party. There will be numerous customer promotions throughout the year. In addition to anniversary products and attractive promotions, customers can expect a variety of POS and online activations.

A special highlight will be the anniversary party, which will take place in September.
There will also be celebrations with employees. Quarterly keynote speeches on current topics are planned as part of the “Open Forum” format, as well as a day of action (“Family Day”) for employees and their families at the company site. There is also a video archive in which every employee can immortalize themselves in the chronicle. In an exciting collaboration with students from Amberg-Weiden Technical University, Création Gross dares to look to the future.

With these activities, Création Gross is not only paying tribute to its history, but also to the people who have made the company’s success possible for a century: its employees, customers and business partners. With a clear vision and a strong commitment to quality, innovation and sustainability, Création Gross is looking to the future.

Thomas Steinhart leaves the company

Thomas Steinhart, Managing Partner of Création Gross GmbH & Co. KG is leaving the company on April 30, 2026 at his own request.

Steinhart joined the company in 2015 and has since been responsible for Finance and Operations as Managing Partner. In addition to far-reaching innovations in the logistics area and the introduction of the new ERP system in 2023, he set new standards in the area of strategic process optimization in production planning and purchasing. With a keen sense of digitalization and sustainable management, he drove forward future-oriented investments.

“We very much regret Thomas Steinhart’s personal decision and would like to thank him for his extraordinary commitment over the past few years.  The cooperation with the owner family was always characterized by a high level of trust and loyalty. His strategic vision and sense of process orientation have significantly advanced Création Gross. We will use the remaining time together to further develop the future viability of the company,” says Dominik Gross, Managing Partner of Création Gross GmbH & Co. KG.

Création Gross organizes first logistics hackathon – Innovative solutions for efficient warehouse processes developed

Création Gross successfully organized its first hackathon on the topic of logistics processes last week. Together with twelve participants from six different companies, exciting solutions for optimizing warehouse and logistics processes were developed and implemented in a very short space of time.

“The results are really impressive,” says Tobias Schumacher, Head of IT, Création Gross. “This hackathon has shown how valuable cross-industry collaboration and innovative thinking can be for the efficiency of our processes.”

The highlights of the hackathon include

  1. Pick-by-Sight: A new tool that enables sales orders to be recorded directly in the warehouse and completed in seconds.
  2. Seamless warehouse transfers: A system for the smooth transfer of goods between different warehouse locations.
  3. Cyclical inventory: An approach to efficiently count thousands of serial numbers, significantly speeding up inventory processes.
  4. Teamwork: The teams took the opportunity to expand their skills in the Warehouse App and learn from each other.

This new form of cooperation sets standards and impressively demonstrates that the share economy is a valuable tool for companies to use resources more efficiently and operate economically in times of rising operating costs.

The participants – including representatives from companies such as SPH AG, MS POS, STZ IT Business Consulting and NEXA Tech Solutions – were enthusiastic about the event and appreciated the intensive exchange and the opportunity to develop innovative and necessary solutions together.

Following the success of the hackathon, Création Gross is already planning further formats to promote IT innovation in the fashion industry.
