Michael Berngruber appointed as new Division Head CARL GROSS

Création Gross is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Berngruber as the new Division Head for CARL GROSS, effective April 1, 2024. Berngruber will succeed Thorsten Grönlund, who will be leaving the company by the end of April 2024.
In his new role, Berngruber will assume stylistic and creative leadership for CARL GROSS, the core brand of the esteemed company with nearly a century of heritage. He will also oversee the direction of the sub-labels BLACK LINE and CONCEPT GREEN, driving forward product innovation and refining the brand image of CARL GROSS through targeted marketing initiatives.
With a wealth of experience in the industry, Création Gross is confident in Berngruber’s ability to excel in his new position. Previously, Berngruber held key roles in product development, marketing, and sales at Digel AG. His career includes notable tenures at CLINTON Großhandels GmbH, TOMMY HILFIGER, and HUGO BOSS, showcasing his comprehensive understanding of the fashion landscape.
Reporting directly to Ralph Böhm, Managing Director of Sales, Product, and Marketing at Création Gross, Berngruber’s appointment reflects the company’s commitment to fostering innovation and growth. “We are thrilled to welcome Michael Berngruber to our team. His extensive expertise will be instrumental, particularly in navigating the challenges of our industry. Dirk Schaal Appointed Head of International Sales

Création Gross is pleased to announce the appointment of Dirk Schaal as Head of
International Sales, effective April 1, 2024. In this position, the Franconian men’s
fashion specialist is expanding its expertise in export activities, reaffirming its
commitment to an internationalization strategy.
In his new role, Mr. Schaal will focus on expanding existing international distribution
channels and driving the strategic development of additional markets. He will report
to Dominik Gross, Head of Sales Création Gross GmbH & Co.KG, who oversees
overall wholesale distribution responsibilities for Germany and international markets.
With extensive international sales experience, Mr. Schaal, a trained and certified trade
assistant, most recently served as the Director of International Sales at BALDESSARINI
GmbH. Prior to that, he held the position of International Sales Manager at Hugo Boss
AG. His professional journey began in a development program at Breuninger,
providing him with a comprehensive understanding of both the industry and retail
sectors.

Création Gross is GRS (Global Recycled Standard) certified

Création Gross GmbH & Co. KG has been GRS certified since November 2023, thus expanding its product range to include sustainable clothing. GRS-certified products will be available under the two lines “NextGen project by CG – CLUB of GENTS” and “CARL GROSS CONCEPT GREEN” starting from the Fall/Winter 2024 collection.
The GRS certification marks a significant stride for Création Gross towards sustainable products, building on the foundation laid by GOTS certification in 2021. Création Gross is listed in the register of standards under the license number CERES-1038.
The Global Recycled Standard, a Textile Exchange standard, aims to foster a higher percentage of recycled content in products. Through the verification of recycled content, both brands and consumers are empowered to make informed purchasing decisions, promoting transparency in the process.

Thorsten Grönlund Leaves from Création Gross

Thorsten Grönlund, Division Head of CARL GROSS, will be leaving the company by his
own request at the end of April 2024 to pursue a new professional challenge.
The 54-year-old joined Création Gross in 2019, taking charge of the CARL GROSS brand.
During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in expanding the brand’s visibility and
developing the sustainable Concept Green capsule.

“We deeply regret Mr. Grönlund’s decision, but we respect his motivations. Thorsten
Grönlund, along with his team, has successfully refined the brand profile of CARL GROSS
and significantly increased its revenue. We thank him for his outstanding contributions and
wish him all the best on his future endeavours,” said Ralph Böhm, Managing Director of
Sales, Product, and Marketing.

A successor for the position has not been determined at this time.

The web-based portal allows customers to access comprehensive information about brands, promotions, items and inventory at any time. In addition, retailers have the option of conveniently placing their reorder and pre-order orders via the portal around the clock.

The user-friendly web-based system provides retailers with direct and easy access to a wide range of information such as detailed product descriptions, images and specifications. It also provides insight into the latest promotions and special offers and current inventory of available products. Retailers can conveniently place their reorder and pre-order requests online 24/7, speeding up the ordering process and increasing efficiency.

“With the relaunch of our B2B portal we are focusing on an improved customer experience and more efficient collaboration with our business partners,” says Katharina Reitmaier, Head of E-Commerce & Business Development. “We are convinced that the new portal will help our retailers to satisfy their customers through the information and order options available in real time.”

Création Gross in new corporate design

The company Création Gross GmbH & Co. KG got its first independent corporate design with the newly developed website www.creationgross.com.

The aim was to give Création Gross a face as a company and employer and to offer both brands CARL GROSS and CG – CLUB of GENTS a neutral platform. Visitors to the site can expect documentary images as well as descriptive texts depicting the company and its locations.

The Responsibility section is a central component of the corporate website. The sustainability activities under the claim ALL ABOUT NEXT, deal with the topics supply chain, environmental protection and social issues. These are presented in a comprehensible way and are constantly being expanded. The news section contains press releases and further insights into current topics and projects of the company.

Direct access to all Création Gross sale platforms has been created. This includes the brand pages of CARL GROSS and CG – CLUB of GENTS, direct access to the B2B area and a newly designed outlet page.

CG – CLUB of GENTS is placing its focus on the sales floor for the season Spring/Summer 2024 with the new Pop-Up concept. By presenting various product groups and sublines individually, the new collection becomes a highlight for both retailers and customers.
The new Pop-Up concept by CG – CLUB of GENTS can be customized according to the retailer’s needs with individual elements and clothes racks and adapted to the available presentation space. The highlight of the concept is the Tower, which serves as a small Pop-Up with additional decorations – creating an eye-catcher for the collection, especially in small areas. The colors black and hague blue are from the existing store design, providing an appealing atmosphere to the space. Black expanded metal in a mesh look not only creates a modern street look but also ensures stability and necessary transparency on-site. With this unique concept, the menswear label aims to give its retailers the opportunity to present their products in an innovative way and provide customers with an unforgettable shopping experience.
In addition to the main and subline products, the Pop-Up can also be filled with items from the new NextGen project. Since Autumn/Winter 2023, CG – CLUB of GENTS offers sustainable products as part of the NextGen project, focusing on the use of selected raw materials and fabrics. The outer fabrics of these products are made entirely from sustainable materials, sourced from certified recycled or naturally renewable resources. In the new summer collection, all looks are 100% GOTS certified. Colors such as sage, natural, navy, and black are timeless and versatile. Different shades of yellow freshen up the styles and convey a sense of lightness. Wide-cut, casual trousers, waistcoats, and jackets made of linen or cotton, as well as super-lightweight sweater-style t-shirts, are trendy and redefine the suit look.

Felix Kroos – podcast host, TV expert and ex captain of 1. FC Union Berlin – will be the new exclusive
brand partner of CG – CLUB of GENTS. The cooperation will start in May 2023 and will initially run for
two years. CG – CLUB of GENTS has been the premium sponsor and official men’s outfitter of 1. FC
Union Berlin since 2021. The connection to the Union player Felix Kroos was obvious.

The collaboration started at the beginning of May with a fitting and shooting in Berlin. Every season,
Felix Kroos is outfitted with the latest looks from the brand. From sporty-elegant to casual-relaxed, all

The menswear label CG – CLUB of GENTS is presenting the 2024 event and wedding program of its
subline Your Own Party by CG – CLUB of GENTS at the European Bridal Week in Essen. Since 2019, the
subline Your Own Party by CG – CLUB of GENTS has established itself as one of the leading suppliers
for wedding outfits in the DACH region. The collection ranges from boho looks to elegant evening wear
to matching accessories. The international trade fair for wedding fashion took place this year from 01
to 03 April 2023.
The collection has the motto “Bright up the night” and takes up on the most important trendsfor 2024.
With natural fabrics like linen, wool and silk, the collection offers a wide range of haptics and qualities.
Natural tones such as petrol, marble grey, different shades of red and a powdery sage also set the tone
for the wedding fashion. From glamorous styles in wool and silk to understated linen, the collection
